Installing another Hype app

Hype Upsell's sidebar lists the other Hype apps. Click one to open its page: if it is already installed on your store, the page has an Open button that takes you straight to it; if it is not, the page explains what the app does and links to its Shopify App Store listing.

From inside Hype Upsell

1. Look at the bottom of Hype Upsell's sidebar for the other Hype apps — Bundles, Upsell, Cart or Discounts, depending on which app you are in.
2. Click the one you want.
3. The page shows the app's name, what it does, three things it gives you, and how it works alongside Hype Upsell.
4. If the app is already on your store, an Installed badge appears and the button reads Open [app name]. Click it to switch to that app in your admin.
5. If it is not installed, the button reads Install [app name] and opens the App Store listing in a new tab.

Installing

From the listing, install exactly as you did this app: click Install, choose the store, read the permission screen, and approve. Each Hype app asks only for the permissions its own features need, so the list will not match Hype Upsell's.

The new app then opens in your admin with its own setup guide. Work through it the same way — see that app's own Install and set up article.

You may not need a second subscription

Before you approve a plan in the new app, check whether Hype Suite is cheaper than paying for two apps separately. It usually is from the second app onward.

If you already have a Suite subscription, there is nothing to do: the new app detects it and its Plan page shows Included in Hype Suite with a link to the app that bills you.

If you pay for Hype Upsell on its own and want the Suite, upgrade from Hype Upsell — the app that already bills you — rather than subscribing in the new one. Why an app might not be in the sidebar

Hype Upsell lists only Hype apps that are live on the Shopify App Store. An app that has not launched yet is left out deliberately, because its listing link would go nowhere. If you have heard about a Hype app you cannot find in the sidebar, ask in the in-app chat.

Why it says "Install" when the app is already installed

The Installed badge depends on the two apps being able to recognize each other. That check does not run on development stores or on non-production installs, so a development store always sees the install pitch even when both apps are present. On a live store, if an app you have definitely installed still shows Install, open it once from Apps in your Shopify admin and come back — and tell support if it persists.

Uninstalling one does not affect the others

Each app has its own data and its own subscription. Removing one leaves the rest untouched — with one exception: if the app you remove is the one holding a Hype Suite subscription, that subscription ends and the other apps lose access when their confirmed access date passes.
